I'm sitting in the Long Beach airport with nothing to do. It's a problem when you spend more time traveling then at your destination.
I spent yesterday night and a few hours this morning in San Francisco. I was there to audition for a spot in The New School's MFA drama program. I had to do a couple monologues for the DEAN of the program. That was nerve-wracking! But I survived. Let's just hope I impressed them enough to get a callback.
The city itself wasn't bad. It kind of reminded me of NYC. If New York was built in the middle of some hills and had a really crappy subway system.
The food was fab! Last night I went to Pier 39 and had some traditional sourdough at the Boudin Cafe. This afternoon I had some of the best curry of my life!
So overall a good trip just promise me that I will never have to spend another second at the Long Beach Airport.

To Contemplate the Mysteries of Life
I have nothing particularly interesting or important to say this evening. However, I felt like writing on my blog so deal with it!
I have been thinking a lot about my life. What exactly do I want to do with it? I thought graduating from high school was a time of big decisions. Was I ever wrong! There are just so many things that I want to do and no time or money to do any of them.
I want to travel. I want to get out of this country and experience the real world for a little while.
I want to be on stage. I wish I were still acting. I already know that not doing the BFA will be one of the biggest regrets of my life.
I just wish I could do everything that I love!
Why do there have to be so many choices...

"Boy! You sure are eccentric!"
Here are just a few pictures from my last show Eccentricities. This was such great fun! I had a small role and it didn't eat my life away but I definitely got my theatre fix! :)
This is the stage. It was kinda small, especially compared to what I'm used to, but it worked great for what we wanted.

Eccentricities
I was getting bored without a play so I decided to audition for one. After many auditions and many denials I finally made it into a play called Eccentricities . It is being produced by the New Play Project. You check out what they are all about here.

It is really an amazing program and I am so excited to be involved in it. From the NPP website...

Mystery of the Red Carpet
It is was time once again for Sierra to enter the world of dramatic arts. She
had to be prepared for anything. Her guard had to up at all times. Words were
her weapons and she wielded them with the power and knowledge of seven men!
ok..ok..I know. I really gotta stop talking about myself in the third person. It's not healthy.
But seriously! I guess it's almost been two weeks, which is weird, but I thought I would report on the out come of the Murder Mystery. It was so much fun! It turned out really well and I was so proud of everyone. We pulled our act together and we created something that was hilariously funny. I'm going to miss everyone I worked with so much. If any of you are reading this we better hang out sometime cause it would be lame to just go our separate ways...
Anyways...time for pictures!! I was a slacker and I took like 3 pictures the entire time so a special thanks to Jon-Micheal Bradley and his amazing photography skills ;)

This is Erin our lovely director and "Nat", assistant to Vera Chang who was played by Lydia the other girl in this picture. Lydia got flowers like

Top: Kayla (Julia Robertson) and Andy (Inspector Dean Anthony) relaxing on the couch.
Michelle (Catherine Zeta-Johnson), Gina (Rachel McAllen), Schyular (Jack White), and Candis (Katie Holmesly). I still want to know what Candis was saying...

This is the entire cast. I'm not going to take the time to list every person and their character because I'm lazy if you want to know who a specific person was you can ask.
So I have tons more pictures. I wish I could put them all up! If I can figure it out I might be able to put some video clips up or something. Cross your fingers.

Murder Mystery Theatre 2007
Ok so I thought the title was pretty witty..
So I'm in this crazy play called "The Mystery of the Red Carpet". **Nov. 16 and 17 Buy your tickets at the Wilk Info desk today!** Yes, I was just shamelessly advertising for my production...deal with it!
Well, I thought you would all like to get a taste of the people I'm working with and some of the things we are doing! Well, we started rehearsals about a month and a half ago. Every Tuesday we meet together and basically do improv. It is a bit crazy...ok actually I'm surprised we've gotten anything done! It was a huge shift in what I'm used to. Back in high school, Mr. Hibbard wanted us to pay attention and shut up when he was talking and now we barely shut up when people are giving lines! *frustration* Despite the chaos of the whole thing, it is so much fun! Basically the only reason I'm surviving is because of Tuesday rehearsals.
So here is our Ad---> *check it out* (I'm Le Neill...the one who crys...)
And now to meet the cast! ---> *check them out*
I'll definatly let everyone know how it all turns out and maybe even have some pictures if you're lucky!
